17TH JULY,011 TO 02ND AUG, 2011
CAMPING AND LODGE COMBINATION PACKAGE
Jul 17 : Arrival into Nairobi. Meet and greet at the airport. Transport to Karen Blixen. Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Drop off at ACJ Guest house all booked on their own.
Jul 18 : After breakfast dive through the masai town known as Narok to the Masai mara game reserve arriving in time for lunch at the kenia basic camp. Afternoon game drive from 15.30hrs to 18.30hrs in this Kenya,s premier game reserve and now also the 7th Wonder Of The World. Dinner and overnight at the kenia camp.
Jul 19 : After breakfast proceed with picnic lunch boxes and driver to the Mara river to view the crossing of the millions of Wildebeest and view all the BIG FIVE members. The Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard. Masai mara adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti national park and every year over 2.8 million wildebeest cross the Mara river to enter Kenya besides hundreds of Black maned Tree climbinh Lions, Cheetah, Giraffes, Zebra, Gazelles and many more. Late afternoon a visit to the masai village. Return to kenia basic camp late evening for dinner and overnight.
Jul 20 : Depart after breakfast from Masai mara whilst driving through the back drop of Mt Longonot and into the breathtaking Great Rift Valley to Naivasha Sopa lodge for late lunch. Afternoon one hour boat ride round the lake and see the lazing Hippos. Dinner and overnight at the Naivasha Sopa lodge.
Jul 21 : After breakfast drive to Crescent Island for a guided walk round the island and than proceed to L.Nakuru national park also known as the Pink Lake for late lunch at the L.Nakuru lodge. Afternoon game drive from 15.00hrs to 18.45hrs in search 0f Black and white Rhino, Thomson and Grant Gazelle Buffaloes, Rothchilds Giraffes, Leopard, Lions and many more. Dinner and overnight at the L.Nakuru lodge.
Jul 22 : Early morning game drive. Return to Lodge for breakfast. Depart mid morning and drive through the plush farmlands of the kikuyu people of tea and coffee for late lunch at Aberdares Country Club. Afternoon transfer to The Ark Tree Lodge. Arrive by early afternoon and have the afternoon tea at the balcony awaiting the arrival of different wildlife species coming to the litted water hole situated opposite the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Ark lodge.
Jul 23 : After breakfast drive through Africa’s largest vegetable market at Karatina and than pass via Thika Falls having lunch at the Blue Posts hotel arriving at ACK guest house by late afternoon.
Jul 24 : Excursions to Kibera Siranga for Church service and all transport on your own.
Jul 25 : Excursion to Kawangare and Gatina slum. Lunch at the Rangers Restaurant situated at the main gate of Nairobi national park. Overnight at the ACK Guest house. Accommodation arrangements on your own.
Jul 26 : Dpart at 08.00hrs and drive through the scenic Athi plains and masai town known as Bisslett to Amboseli Kibo Safari lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive from 15.30hrs to 18.30hrs in search pf the Huge African Elephants under the shadows of Africa’s Highest Mt.Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight and the Amboseli Kibo Safari lodge.
Jul 27 : Another full day is spent in game viewing in search of the Big Cats not seen earlier. If possible and permission by KWS than a morning and afternoon game drive can be done. Swimming pool option is also available. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Kibo Safari lodge.
Jul 28 : Early morning breakfast and depart for Mombasa via Mtito Andei and Voi town to Diani Beach arriving late afternoon at Leopard Beach Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Jul 29 To Aug 01 : Stay at the Leopard Beach Hotel or similar on H/B basis.
Aug 03 : Transfer to Mombasa airport for your Flight to Nairobi connecting your International Flight to Amsterdam.
The Cost Includes :
All transport and game drives in a 4X4 safari vehicle with an open roof, accommodation in Three Double rooms on full board basis during safari (B,L,D) in Masai Mara on Camping and on Half board basis at Diani Beach, all game park entry fees, a fully trained English speaking driver guide, Boat ride at Naivasha, fee to Karen Blixen , masai village at Masai Mara, lunch at Carnivore Restaurant, one set of binoculars, a mini library of books on culture, wildlife, birdlife etc, airport transfers upon arrival and departure.
The Cost Does Not include :
Personal expenses, soft drinks and alcohol, laundry, gratuity, visas, water, lunch at Blue Posts, lunch at Rangers.
